Assistant to Dr. Barbara Berney, medical activist filmmaker of " Power to Heal", a documentary about Medicare and the civil rights movement, directed by Charles Burnett and narrated by Danny Glover.

I was responsible for conducting research to identify potential partners to support the documentary. Potential partners could be non-profit organizations, film critics, public figures, museums, unions, organizations, etc, and ponder possible areas of collaboration such as underwriter, sponsor, or collaborator.

Other responsibilities I assumed where coordinating events, developing marketing strategies, writing the close captioning and subtitles in Spanish, and creating the graphic design pitch decks for the documentary's distribution and marketing.
